MANILA, Philippines — The sixth most wanted fugitive in Quezon City was arrested on Thursday.

Col. Melecio Buslig Jr., Quezon City Police District chief, said Jouie Castillo, 44, was arrested in Barangay Sta. Lucia on the basis of a warrant issued by the QC Regional Trial Court Branch 102.

Insect repellents are widely available commercially, but their prices are beyond the reach of millions of households. If the government wants to boost the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and chikungunya, an affordable mosquito repellent must be developed and mass-produced.

Castillo is wanted for three counts of lascivious conduct, Buslig said.

Also arrested was Mark Anthony Palasigue, who was wanted in a separate case for attempted murder.

“The successful operations are the results of a heightened coordination and dedication of our policemenfortunejack,” Buslig said in a statement.
